The Plain of Six Glaciers Teahouse is located in the backcountry of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, only 5.6km from the Chateau Lake Louise. The Teahouse was built in 1927 and has been privately owned and operated by the same family since 1959.
The current owner is passionate about preserving the history of the Teahouse as well as the surrounding nature and wildlife. As such, the Teahouse is still in its original form with no electricity. We serve beverages, light lunches, and treats made fresh daily on propane stoves.
Please note that since we do not have electricity, our preferred method of payment is CASH. We can accept credit cards however there is an ADDITIONAL $4.00 charge to process these payments.
